Milan Brunner has been the Principal flautist of the Toronto
Philharmonia since 1990, a post he has also held with the Toronto
Sinfonietta, summer festival orchestras of Huntsville, Freistatt
(Austria), and Boulder (Colorado), and the Slovak Philharmonic and
Broadcasting Orchestras in Czechoslovakia.
His many solo performances have taken him to Italy, Spain, England,
Czechoslovakia as well as Canada performing with such groups as
Musica Antiqua, Kosice Philharmonic and the Liverpool Symphony.
He also toured Japan in 1998.
Brunner's recordings include Mozart, Bach and Breiner's The
Beatles Concerto Grosso. He presently teaches flute and recorder
both privately and at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto.
